Abhi and TPL Corp Announce Strategic Acquisition of FINCA Microfinance Bank

Karachi, Pakistan – September 20, 2024: Abhi Private Limited and TPL Corporation Limited have   entered into the agreement to acquire FINCA Microfinance Bank Limited, marking a major milestone in Pakistan’s financial services sector. Paving the way for significant advancements in financial inclusion.

By leveraging Abhi’s fintech capabilities and FINCA’s extensive reach, the combined entity will introduce a range of new financial services, all designed to empower individuals and businesses in both urban and rural areas. This strategic acquisition is part of a broader effort to create a more inclusive financial ecosystem, addressing the evolving needs of Pakistan’s underbanked population.

The acquisition agreement, solidified through the signing of a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA), is now pending regulatory approvals and requisite closing conditions. As the process moves forward, further updates to follow.
